Fortunate

Fortunate

While I describe
my daily life
in simple words –
routine, regular, ordinary,

I return their gazes
and smile kindly
to thank them
for prompting me

he feels time,
trusting it will come
to illuminate
even the most deeply hid
kernel.

that stir my mind
and whirl my pen.
